About Washington Youth Soccer Participation Card
Washington Youth Soccer’s Participation Card offers youth in the state who are not currently registered with a team the ability to experience soccer.
Who is this card for? Any youth in the state of Washington who is not currently registered with a Washington Youth Soccer team or club. It is ideal for:
- A player who is thinking about trying out soccer and would like to practice with a team before signing up
- A player who missed registration this year
- A player who is not a registered player but has been asked to guest practice with a Washington Youth Soccer team
- A player who loves the game of soccer but is unable to commit to a team because of schedule restrictions
Benefits of Participation Card:
Guest Practice Insurance – Washington Youth Soccer’s Participation Card extends insurance coverage to cardholder when participating in supervised sanctioned activities of Washington Youth Soccer – i.e. games, practices, clinics, tournaments, etc.
PlayOn! – Washington Youth Soccer’s Bi-annual Soccer newspaper
E-PlayOn! – Washington Youth Soccer’s monthly E-Newsletter
Become part of Washington Youth Soccer’s Family – as a Participation Card holder you will now receive exclusive news and offers from Washington Youth Soccer such as local ticket specials, special events, offers from sponsors and more.
What the Participation Card Does Not cover: The insurance benefit of Washington Youth Soccer’s Participation Card only covers participation in supervised sanctioned Washington Youth Soccer activities. Insurance would not extend to events unsupervised and/or unaffiliated with Washington Youth Soccer. Participation Card holders would not be eligible to participate in any sanctioned league games, President’s Cup, Commissioners’ Cup, Challenge Cup or US Youth Soccer Washington State Championships.
Next steps….Once a Participation card holder decides to join a team or is asked to guest play in a sanctioned league game or a tournament, they must sign up directly with that team’s club. The player is responsible for all club fees and does not get the cost of the Participation Card ($20.00) discounted or refunded.
